Questionnaires
From time to time, UK NEQAS (Blood Coagulation)
distributes questionnaires to participants to address current issues, ensuring
that the programme meets the needs and requirements of participants, and is
clinically relevant.
Unselected coagulation testing
Following the publication of the BCSH Guideline on the assessment of
bleeding risk prior to surgery or invasive procedures (Chee et al 2008
Brit J Haem: 140:496), we shall shortly be conducting a survey in
conjunction with the Thrombosis and Haemostasis Task Force of BCSH to
try to establish how widespread is unselected coagulation testing prior
to surgery. Individual information will of course
